2nd day of editing

2nd Day of Editing

Today was our second day of editing which I found was much more productive than the last. we complete more and we were also able to post a rough cut of the music video. The things we found hard were the lip syncing and getting it on point. Although, we struggled but we were able to ask the teacher to assist us and she told us how we could improve with our lip-syncing. In addition, we also found that the footage was less than we thought so we need to go out and film some more for out music video.

Animatic

ANIMATIC

This is me and dorcas' animatic video where we have used several types of presentations to present our work. Dorcas used 'Pixton' a website for comics and storyboards to then create a story board using our shot list and location sheet to help along the way. I then went ahead and used 'Filpagram' to make the images move systematically and also to add music in the background, and playing in the background is 'Tori kelly- Unbreakable smile' which is the song we choose for our music video.  Lastly, I then posted the video on youtube so I could then embed it into my blog which is as seen above. These technique really tested our abilities and w accomplished and learnt a lot using these tools of media.

1st day of editing

1st day of Editing

On our first day of editing we were able to complete more than we expected and we uploaded all and most of our work onto premier pro so that we are able to edit from there. In addition, we were also able to form some of are rough cut for our music video. Here I was the one mostly done the editing because dorcas had previously filmed same of the footage so next time we would swap roles. this will be when we continue to the band scene and some other scenes we have planned using our planning schedules.

In this shot we had Nadine standing in front of a statue with red buses driving past behind her. This makes it obvious for the viewers that we were in London.   With this shot we gave Nadine a prop which was the acoustic guitar which belongs to Dorcas. We filmed Nadine being herself and running around the sun beds, doing star jump and just having fun! This was ideal for placing within our music video. We did not plan to film this scene but we decided that it would be a great shot within our music video. Here we used as variety of shots to film these scenes for our and this created a good look for our film and we filmed nice shots. Here we filmed in the drama studio using lots of props such as bubble and balloons and musical instruments.
