Construction of the Advert

To construct our advert we had to use photoshop to work on this. For the advert, I completed this task by myself whilst Dorcas my team member was working on some of the digipak. we looked at examples of other peoples work to help us in the making of ours. We also watched videos on youtube to help us with creating and using photoshop since I haven't used it in a while and I struggled  to remember how to operate all the tools and buttons on photoshop.




Firstly, we had already taken picture of Nadine, who was are main actress for our music video so this came in handy for when I was constructing the advert. As an idea I came up with using the same or similar pictures and colours on out digipak and advert so that it is consistant and also this would also attract a buyer into our brand because of the consistency they would be more intrigued to watch the music video.

Music Video Rough Cut

MUSIC VIDEO ROUGH CUT


This is a rough cut, where me and Dorcas have posted an incomplete version of our music video onto YouTube. We collectively did this to help with improvements when it came to our final music video. We showed this video to a few people who gave us audience feedback. This rough cut we included most of the footage we had filmed but we did decide to go back out and film a few more close up shots so that we could add this in. This was done due to the feedback we had received

Audience Feedback

Audience Feedback 




This is me and Dorcas' audience feedback video where we gathered a few people to watch our video and give us feedback negative and positive so that we could improve on it. We ask them some question and they gave us truthful answers. bearing in mind this is only a small handful of people that we had feedback from so we chose a boy and a girl out of a few others. what  had learnt from this feedback for future reference is to make sure that the lip syncing is much more defined and there is more part in the video where we have close up shots.

Here are some screenshots from the feedback we received from our final music video from various ages, genders and ethnicities. we did this via various media platforms such as WhatsApp and Snapchat.


We also had some problems with being able to access the video through mobile phones. This was because the song that we used 'Tori Kelly - UNBREAKABLE SMILE' is copy righted, this means that people have to uses their laptop and computer in order to watch our final music video.
