case study 2- Emil Nava

Emil Nava 
Emil Nava begin his career as a runner for a film production company, worked for a company called Blink Production. he now freelances for OB management. He then graduated to a assistant Director and he management a video shoot. He also directed a L'oreal Advert "Dare to be different" this also mad him more money that his starting out music videos.
When he began his music career his music video budgets were at a small amount of £5,000 to £10,000 this is where his career was lifted of the ground. His most expensive music video to date is Jessie J at a budget of £160,000.


Emil's first budget was the bad kid British - our house is dadless and the track budget was around £20,000. It was located in Manchester, they also casted local people to be a feature in the music video.  I took only one day to film, 2/3 days to edit and 10 days of pre-production.




OB Management is the management in which he works with and represents the agents he also works with. OB Management companies aim was to nurture peoples talent and work with production companies and labels. they also aimed to match the right director to the right artist so it is extremely easier for them to get along and work together productively.
 
Emil Nava has directed many other music video including big names such as Chris Brown, T.I, Ed Sheeran , Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J and many more. Nava has had a lot of successful experiences with the music industry and has produce many now famous music videos.
